KAREN WILLIS 

BSC (HONS) OST MED, ND, DO, BSC (HONS) BIOCHEM, DIBAK 

Karen originally trained as a biochemist at the University of Edinburgh and spent several years working in research focused on cancer, genetic disorders, and disease diagnostics. Her growing interest in integrative and natural therapeutics led her to further her career in the health and healing sciences.

In 2005, she obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine, together with Diplomas in Naturopathy and Osteopathy, from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. She subsequently completed postgraduate training in Cranial Osteopathy and Acupuncture. In 2006, she undertook the Applied Kinesiology Foundation Course with Tracy Gates, which marked the beginning of her long-term commitment to advanced Applied Kinesiology training and clinical practice.

Karen has served as Chair of ICAK-UK since 2010, with a brief period away from the role, and continues to provide leadership and strategic direction to the organisation. In 2014, she obtained the Diplomate qualification (DIBAK), the highest level of professional certification awarded by the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK), following successful completion of advanced written and practical examinations. DIBAK status reflects a high level of clinical competence, professional training, and sustained commitment to excellence in Applied Kinesiology practice.

Over the years, Karen has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in advanced Applied Kinesiology and integrative clinical methods, including Orthomolecular Medicine, Brain Injury and Recovery, Retained Neonatal Reflexes and Learning Difficulties, Visceral Osteopathy, Cranial Nerve Evaluation, Peripheral Nerve Entrapment, Ligament Interlink Technique, Injury Recall Technique, and Psychosomatics.
